I'm a former employee from the 90s and I went into the one at Great Northern the people behind ice cream counter call the container of ice cream out to scoop out ice cream I was taught we're not allowed to do that Adele Nelly would be rolling over in her grave if she was alive or if she was dead that's not the way Adele Malley wants her store run I find it poorly trained of the staff

Best Malley's around IMHO. Carousel seating rocks, hasn't changed much since I was a kid. Prices for ice cream can't be beat.

We have been coming here since I can remember (at least 30 years)! We love it and were happy to discover recently that they were starting to pay a bit more attention to food allergens and ingredients. We love this store in particular because of the revolving carousel and the various decorations. Best hot fudge sundaes ever!!

Always clean, friendly staff that gives plenty of sprinkles for the little kids.

The moving carousel in the middle is fun for dates or family adventure. The chocolates are delicious. Unique experience in N.Olmsted.

I feel like I'm going back in time when I enter this Malley's. I love the Merry-Go-Round inside. All of the older ladies working in the morning are so nice & sweet. For some reason I spent 6 bucks on a bag of gummi bears, but they were the best tasting that I've had in my entire life. It must be all the love that was baked into them.

Had a nut Malley Sunday, large enough to share. Yes, you can buy ice cream sundaes and candy for less money, but you are also paying for the atmosphere. It is worth it as a treat. Sat on the carousel, in the center of the store. Always a great time, ice cream is always excellent, service is usually very very good. I go there a couple of times a year. It is worth it.

Local Legendary sweets. Rich, homie, and tasty.

Took forever to get a shake because the help was too busy yacking with seated customers that had what they ordered. Ignoring me while her conversation was more important.

A Cleveland favorite and home town original. Prices aren't bad and the service is old school making it fun for young and old.

Love their chocolate, it's delicious. Many years ago, I bought a lifetime VIP card. 3 years ago, it became invalid. They now only do 1 year VIP cards. I think they should have grandfathered all of us in, that had their cards for many years....hence my 4 star rating.

Felt like an Era gone by but stopped in time. This little candy and ice cream shop holds a rotating carousel of dining tables surrounded by ice cream colored chairs. Multi-level seating is available throughout the shop and display cases are filled with many chocolate treats. The Hot Fudge sundae is served as two scoops in a traditional sundae dish with a side of Hot Fudge to pour as desired. Delicious.

A destination ice cream shop/chocolatier that's been around long before trendy competitors. This particular location's focal point is the rotating carousel seating in the middle. I have ordered Malley's sundaes before and they're delicious. Be sure to get this locations-specific sundae. This time I had a scoop of peppermint stick and malleyprints (moose tracks) topped with their hot fudge. Hot Fudge is a must! A return visit is likely.

The best chocolate!!! I swear I’m not biased for having grown up in Cleveland 😏 The rainbow wafers are my favorite!! I love that this location has a carousel inside that they’ve turned into a seating area. Great sundaes, too!

Great place to come with family or friends. The employees are mostly teenagers, but they have very pleasant attitudes. Have had a couple incidents with dirty spoons or glasses, sometimes tables are not cleaned in between customers. Otherwise I like coming here.

Really cool old school environment with amazing treats. If you are new or visiting Cleveland this is a necessary stop. Great crew, great value, great ambiance.

Yummy. I love the Bordeaux candies. My favorite. It is so fun. If you go to a location that sells ice cream when you sit down they bring you a glass of water, pretzels and a little thing of their delicious hot fudge. The location in where I go in North Olmsted has seating on a slowly turning carousel. Malley's is a Cleveland institution. Their chocolate is amazing. They sell other yummy treats too. If you get a chance buy a bag of their Sweet Slips. What it is is a mix of chocolates that weren't quite good enough look wise to make it in the regular packaging. Still tasty just not as pretty. It is a fun way to get a mix at a lower cost. Now if anyone has any food allergies like peanuts and tree nuts than that is really the only not to go. Otherwise go.

We came in with a large group and they accommodated us so kindly. The service was wonderful, and as always, the ice cream was delicious.

What's not to love? The creamiest chocolate ever... I moved away from the area 17 years ago but whenever I am in Cleveland, Malley's is a MUST STOP place on my list. Treated my daughter to a big sundae on the carousel--- yum!!!!

I live in Florida, but my family is from Ohio. Every time I visit, Malley's is the only must-do stop in all of Cleveland. They have the best ice cream in the world, the most delicious hot fudge, and the shop is too adorable to pass up. A Lakewood staple- 11/10, do not miss.

How could you not like a place that has the same name as my last name. It was a nice place to go to have a cup of ice cream. And also to have some good family time with the slow moving very slow moving carousel. My kids loved it a lot and we hope to go back soon

My theatre always goes here for a cast party and I come home with a full stomach. The ice cream is delicious!!! It's so sweet and creamy. The other states are missing out on such wonderful chocolate. I ordered a big sundae with the four chocolate ice cream. The fudge is my favorite part. Is so warm and thick! The atmosphere was a bit cold but very friendly! I love it there.

Friendly Staff & COVID friendly with masks, sanitizer and distancing. However, my hot fudge sundae came with no hot fudge and the MaryAnn cake on the bottom was as hard as a brick :(
